CROSSWINDS CROSSFIT KIDS, TWEENS AND TEENS
KIDSGRADES K-3
Our Crosswinds CrossFit Kids have so much fun doing fitness, they don’t even realize it is fitness! They begin with a warm up, stretching, do a quick workout and finish with a game. They learn not only basic physical skills, but also social skills and confidence. Children learn fundamental movements including squats, push-ups, pull ups, climbing, jumping, running, stretching and elementary gymnastics movements. More importantly, your child will also learn to follow directions, listen, communicate, and play with others. Every class includes game play and positive reinforcement. Your child’s confidence, both physically and mentally, will grow with each class. TWEENSGRADES 3-6
Our Tween CrossFit class starts with a warm up, transitions to stretching, and then the remaining time is spent on skill work and an actual workout. Each class ends with a quick game. We make fitness FUN! Every class is different and that is what keeps it exciting, as well as helps each child be a well-rounded athlete. In this class we provide a safe introduction to weightlifting and really work on core strength and body control. We will work on physical and mental strength, endurance, and cohesion all in a package relative to making each person stronger Mondays 5:30-6:35pm Thursdays 5:30pm-6:25pm Saturdays 10:10-11:05am *Monthly Membership 2 week notice required to stop auto-renew **Access to Family Fit Tuesdays at 5:30pm with parent. |
TEENSGRADES 7-10
We understand the needs of youth and high school athletes to develop speed, agility, accuracy and power. In addition to improving each athlete’s physical capacity, our goal is to improve group accountability, confidence and an athlete’s ability to work in a team environment that will not only translate to better results on the field, it will help in everyday life. Our Teens program is a more serious strength and conditioning program where weightlifting is an area of focus. We will work on physical and mental strength, endurance, and cohesion all in a package relative to making each person stronger. Using this formula average athletes become great and great athletes become unstoppable!
